Sr. Programmer Analyst

Major Manufacturing Company in Easton, PA is seeking a SrProgrammer Analyst for a Hybrid positionThe SrProgrammer Analysts will support Business Process Automation by coding new applications, integrating systems together or making beneficial adjustments to existing software programs to maximize their effectivenessThe primary function is to support efficient workflow and production by writing new applications, integrations and SQL code that creates and/or troubleshoots proper workflow sequencing within the manufacturing production life cycleAlso, serves as a technical advisor and project manager to other members of the organization on projects as neededPossess an in-depth knowledge of a manufacturing environment and a sound understanding of business practicesDevelops and executes detailed project plansPrincipal Duties &
Responsibilities:
SrProgrammer Systems Analyst will perform all the activities that support the development and maintenance of new applications and:
Ability to extract manufacturing PLC data from SQL databases (SQL stored procedures) and display data on management front-end web-based dashboards, or business intelligence/analytic tools (such as PowerBI)Code programs, create code libraries, and run tests to determine software defectsDevelop and maintain in-house developed applicationsWrite APIs between existing and new applications, both on-prem and SaaS basedTroubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirementsWork as a Project Manager to evaluate business needs, create a plan on how best to meet those needs, and communicate a time frame for correction of issues and/or implementation of new processesTroubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirementsArranges project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements, preparing a workflow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logicEnhance existing custom application performance by optimizing the SQL statements/procedures within the database which the application is built onMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societiesIdentifies, develops and maintains the procedures that aid in system recovery in case of disasterWorks with IS Operations to ensure that systems are transferred to a production status once the new system has been implemented or an older system has been upgradedServe as back up to System Analyst, and supports production operations by resolving incidents within their SLAPerforms other functions as assignedMaintains computer systems and programming guidelines by writing and updating policies and proceduresIn accordance with the NIST CSF and Hallmark Standards, ensure adherence to policies and processes to remain in compliance for maintenance, security continuous monitoring and recovery areas including Asset Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Vulnerability & Patch Management, Data Security, Disaster Recovery and Business ContinuitySkills:
Strong knowledge of SQLWith the ability to write new, and troubleshoot, existing stored proceduresAbility to successfully develop in HTML, CSS, JavaScript,.
NET and front-end business intelligent/analytic toolsAbility to develop APIs using open restAPI scriptingStrong knowledge of web-based architectures, relational databases, database architecture and data loading and extraction practicesStrong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands for resourcesStrong analytical, data processing and problem-solving skillsProficiency in process formulation and improvementFamiliar with a variety of the IS field's best practices, concepts and proceduresExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)Knowledge of applications related to the manufacturing environment (Rockwell, Johnson Controls, Allen Bradley, etca plus)Some travel maybe requiredSkills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university program with 8 years' manufacturing system experience in large systems design and implementation using relational database technology, advanced programming tools as well as experience in working with application users and technical staff in a team environmentExperience in developing Client/Server, and Web-Based applicationsOR Associate's degree in Computer Science with 12 years' manufacturing system experience in large systems design and implementation using relational database technology, advanced programming tools as well as experience in working with application users and technical staff in a team environmentExperience in developing Client/Server, and Web-Based applicationsPlease forward resume to preslny.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
